Dreams in Islam

In Islam, there are three types of dreams: Ru'ya (true dream from Allah), Hulm (dream from Shaytan), and Hadith an-nafs (dream from one's own mind). Prophet Muhammad considered true dreams to be one-fortieth of prophecy.
